Venue
Built in the Golden Twenties in the centre of Berlin and idyllically situated on the Spree river, the Arena Berlin is industrial monument and unique location in one. The 20,000 m² site combines industrial architecture with a modern event location. The area includes six indoor and outdoor locations in an urban setting.
The Arena Halle
Located in Berlin’s inner-city district Alt-Treptow, the 6,500 m2 Arena Halle offers high-quality professional infrastructure. The structure, originally the main bus workshop of the Allgemeine Berliner Omnibus company, was built in 1927 according to the design of architect Franz Ahrens, who held the title of imperial building officer. At the time, it was the largest cantilevered hall in Europe.
The Arena Halle is a combination of 1920s industrial architecture and contemporary event infrastructure, and this gives the heritage-protected venue its distinctive character. It was fully refurbished in 2000 and is now one of Berlin’s most popular event locations.
During the 2024 Digital Dentistry Show, the venue will host numerous exhibition stands and a lecture forum. To provide refreshments for attendees throughout the event, the indoor hall will also feature a food truck.
Attendees will have access to the adjacent Sonnendeck of the Escobar bar, where they will be able to enjoy delicious food and drinks, as well as to the Badeschiff, a picturesque floating public swimming pool area overlooking the Spree river. Make sure to bring your bathing suit!
